My amazing family threw us a baby shower over Thanksgiving. We received some great loot, but best of all, we fit it all into one suitcase and everything arrived safely.
Safari themed baby shower to go with our Safari themed nursery. The tres leches cake was delicious!
Note the "New Mom to Be" Banner. I wore it all night.
My mother and aunts who were responsible for throwing the party. Thanks!!!
Darling quilt that my mother had made. We can't wait for the lil' one to use it.
Lullaby CDs from my mom to lull the baby to sleep. Hopefully! :)
We are so grateful to our wonderful family and can't wait to add our new addition!
Join us and share our journey of the trials, tribulations, and happiness of the adoption process.

Red Thread
| "An invisible red thread connects those destined to meet, regardless of time, place, or circumstances. The thread may stretch or tangle, but never break." -Ancient Chinese Proverb |
I love this proverb. I think it really helps when you are going through the long and arduous waiting period to know that your child is somewhere out there waiting for you too and you are linked. One of my amazing coworkers bought me a red thread today after overhearing me discuss the proverb with another adoptive Mom. Thanks C!!! I love my new red thread bracelet!
